Business Identifier Code (BIC)

The Business Identifier Code (BIC) is a unique combination of eight to eleven digits assigned to each bank. It indicates the name of the bank and the city and country where the bank is located. You need the BIC (in addition to the IBAN) to make bank transfers to countries outside the EU and the European Economic Area (EEA).
