Lifelong learning

We live in a fast-moving world. Every day, new technologies make it clear to us that our society and economy are constantly evolving. That’s why it is important to never stop learning.
For our purposes, lifelong learning means recognizing that the acquisition of knowledge, skills and qualifications does not end when we complete school or university but continues throughout life. We have many opportunities in life to learn new things and to grow. In our work life, for example, we have a chance to develop further by taking advantage of what our employers have to offer and by looking for new challenges and projects. Engaging in part-time training courses or study programs while working may also open up the opportunity to take the next step in your career.
Of course, lifelong learning is not just limited to the workplace, but should also take place outside of work. In our digital world, there are extensive learning opportunities on the internet for independent knowledge acquisition – in addition to face-to-face courses or workshops, books, newspapers and magazines. Educational videos or online courses can also contribute to personal development.
Lifelong learning means setting new goals for yourself, broadening your horizons and pursuing your interests. It can therefore also make an important contribution to financial prosperity.
