Bonuses

Bonuses are special payments that employers pay their employees on top of a regular salary to mark particular occasions. In Austria, employees receive a Christmas bonus and a vacation bonus, which are also referred to as 13th and 14th monthly salary. Other examples include severance pay, profit shares or special pension payments.
