Collective wage agreements

In Austria, collective wage agreements are negotiated annually for specific sectors between employers’ representatives (Austrian Economic Chambers) and employees’ representatives (Austrian Trade Union Federation). A collective wage agreement sets certain standards that apply to the sector as a whole, such as a minimum wage or working conditions.
